this came 25 august 2010, at the roosavelt hotel, where i stayed immobilized. curiously i had no need for the smog outside but stayed close to the messages thom had conveyed via film. the song the present tense especially. thom yorke on the internet speaks of the cop 15 debacle and sings of the present tense. i was imprisoned by the sorrow of the letter conveyed to me by vikramadithya singh of peter gelles suicide. they were both from the american film institute.
this preceded and influence the bands neptune 27 august 2010 and halley's comet 20 september 2010 and mars piano 21 september 2010, but follows pluto.
